I went in today to get some take out bbq and one of the puchase was half BBQ Duck. The lady asked me to wait outside for the duck and come back in a few minutes (which is weird for a BBQ place) and because of Covid I thought nothing of it. Well, when I got home it turns out the Duck was OLD!! Skin was wrinkly and soggy. Shame on them for treating a customer like this. Please be aware when you come here and dont wait outside like I did for BBQ take out. Will not return. PS. Did not even give me the extra plum sauce I paid for.
MoreFood was a-ok. Service not bad, prices are acceptable. Just lacks parking as they are situated in a busy plaza with many other shops
MoreThe BBQ is really tasty and soft. It's one of the best I've ever had. It's a little on the sweet side so if you don't like it that way then this might not be for you. I think the chef puts a lot attention in the dishes. Everything was pretty good. It's just tad on the pricier side but well worth for those BBQ pork cravings.
MoreFair price and good food. I've never left this place disappointed.
The worst cantonese BBQ place I've been to for a long long time. The pork skin was flaky, chewy and tasteless (look at the color). We spent $50 for the BBQ, two bowls of noodles and some steamed vegetables, which is way over the average in Markham. I do not understand how it survived in this neighborhood for so long.
MoreGreat BBQ food, specially the pi pa duck, but it's need preorder, friendly service.
MoreOverall good food, especially the BBQ Pork which was really flavourful. The Peking duck wrappings were really thin and better than most places.
MoreSpecial BBQ pork can be order that is better than the regular BBQ pork. One plate is about $30
MoreHorrible service. Almost every time you go, you see the two ladies giving attitude to different customers.
MoreGreat Hong Kong barbecue place. The 'pi pa ya' (roasted duck) and cha siu king are good but required reservation. The daily soup is not disappointing. The vegetables are simple. Additional things to try: hot pan fried tofu and eggplant pot. The only mediocre dish is the 'salty duck egg deep fried shrimp', since the shrimp is not fried very well. They serve really fast and the price is cheap (10-25/dish). Authentic hong kong style food. Busy during dinner time.
MoreLunch is only $8.50 + HST. Big portion, enough to feed 2 person.
Average Chinese food, I've had better. It's annoying because it's cash only.
Food is good, service is decent. Nothing exceptional about this place. In fact, you can walk 100m along the plaza to get cheaper food of the same quality.Obviously there’s something I’m missing here as some people really love this place.
MoreLove the food there, almost 99% is 5 stars. Service is not good.
Delicious and amazing. My whole family drives from Detroit to come and eat here.
A restaurant located in a plaza along Highway 7, we came here on a Thursday night for their BBQ.Their signature dish is the “King of BBQ Pork” dish and it really is as delicious as it looks and smells! Order early as they make them on demand, so it may take 15 to 20 minutes depending on how busy the restaurant is. It is pricey at 30$ though. We also got the Chinese Crispy Pork Belly and that was amazing as well. I would say their BBQ is what they are known for.The other dishes we got were okay or below average, so don’t order too much.We got friendly service here, unlike other reviews, so maybe it depends who you get.
MoreFood was really good. The sizzling black pepper steak was especially good. Prices were okay. Great for family dinners. Service needs improvement though and they only accept cash. I disliked how some of their menus were completely written in Chinese with no English... and they did not have other types of teas to choose from.
MoreTheir bbqs were good, selections are great. This place is crowded in the weekend and suggest reserve a table before you go.
